Tax Reference MCP

The AdvisorWorld Reference Data MCP gives compatible AI clients read-only access to pinned U.S. state income-tax, retirement-income-tax, estate and inheritance-tax, and Medicaid-planning reference data, plus a federal Roth transaction classifier. Every response preserves source receipts and verification status so an unknown or uncited figure is never silently treated as zero. Connect Add this public Streamable HTTP endpoint to Codex, ChatGPT, Claude, or another MCP client: https://api.advisorworld.com/mcp No account or API key is required. Requests are stateless and tool arguments are not logged or persisted. Operational telemetry records the timestamp, HTTP and MCP method, tool name, declared client name and version, outcome, and an opaque request-session correlator. The Roth tool uses only the transaction facts a caller supplies, so send the minimum facts needed and do not include names, account numbers, or Social Security numbers. Truth and safety rules The server distinguishes cited, uncited, unverified, pending-final, and not-applicable values. The state, estate, retirement-income, and Medicaid tools use locally packaged, digest-bound datasets; historical, retirement-income, and Medicaid-planning responses are context only and never become liability inputs. The current packaged defaults are state income-tax 2026.v20, income-tax-history.v2, and Medicaid planning 2026.v15. The twenty-three-tool set includes three deterministic 2026 federal Roth tools. Their complete TTA publication is packaged locally and verified against both its exact published-file SHA-256 and canonical JSON SHA-256 before the separately audited resolver runs; its IRS links remain visible as source receipts and are never fetched during a request. Roth metadata is also available through the read-only tta://federal-roth-transaction-treatment/2026.v1 resource. Retirement and Roth comparisons never rank choices, make recommendations, or calculate liability. Estate and inheritance calculations require exact caller-provided jurisdiction rate-table coordinates after applicable exclusions, deductions, and exemptions; they never derive taxable amounts from gross estate or gross inheritance. Calculations fail closed when required rate inputs are not substantiated. The server does not fetch caller-provided URLs, write data, or make changes to any account.
